The megapixel race is on again, because the Altek suggested recently that will release a smartphone with a 14 megapixel sensor. In the same time, Sony declared the world's first 16.41 MP sensor designed for mobile phones.
A phone with this sensor will be able to record videos in 1080p/30 frames or 720p/60fps. Developers say that the new sensors provide low noise and high sensitivity .
